Making Money Online

What is it?

Google Adsense is a program that allows website owners and bloggers to make money by allowing Google to post ads on your content. Google gets the largest cut obviously, leaving you with a small percentage of earnings. The ways to generate income with Adsense include: 

• Impressions: The total number of pageviews (traffic to your page or website) 
• Clicks: The amount of people who click on the ads found in your blog or website

You start by signing up to Adsense. Once you are approved, you can choose what kinds of ads you want on your page, how they look, and where they show up. Once you make $100 in total, Google will send you a check or directly deposit your share to your bank account.

Who is Eligible? 

• You must be 18 or older to sign up

• You need a website. Adsense collaborates with Blogger and YouTube as long as you meet certain requirements

When Do I Start Making Money?

In order to make money with Adsense, you must have a good amount of traffic on your website/blog/channel. Growing your blog/channel can take a long time, and you might not even see any revenue for months or even years. Google Adsense is a great way to make money online, but it isn't a "get rich quick" scheme. It takes time and great content in order to gain traffic.
