Advertisement Wear-Out

We all have seen those ads that just make you want to change the channel on your television or throw your mobile device. Looking at it from the marketer's point of view, this is the exact opposite kind of attention any ad should be getting. In order to keep attracting potential customers, advertisements should be kept fresh and updated with current global trends.

Here are 2 ways to keep ads from inevitably wearing out:

1) Keep It Simple

Most of the time, the ads that wear out the fastest tend to be over-complicated and somewhat annoying. For example, according to reelrundown.com, the most annoying commercials of 2016 include Skittles: Taste the Rainbow, Sonic: Two Guys in a Car, and Beggin' Strips. In order to avoid ad wear-out, multiple campaigns should be running simultaneously in order to add more diversity to the product. Creativity doesn't always have to be over-the-top. most of the time, the simplest commercials/ads come out on top.

2) Small Changes Go a Long Way

In SEO marketing, Google tends to dominate. If you are running a Google Adwords Campaign, changes to the keywords and description of your product/company can make a big difference.
